The application for a passport takes about six weeks. Sometimes, it might take less time but never below four weeks. Expedited service is available for those who want to speed up the processing period. This can shorten the duration of wait from six weeks to two weeks. This expedited service is available at the US Department of State.

Expedited Service

The cost implication of the expedited passport is higher than that of the normal passport. The difference will depend on how urgent the passport is required. Non-governmental agencies also offer this service to the populace. They reduce the processing time to a range of 12 days to 24 hours. If the passport is not needed urgently, the cost implication might be reduced.

Government Licensing

There are both online and offline passport expediting services available. The only criterion that you should consider is whether the service provider is government licensed. The expediter will send you further instructions. Offline providers will contact you by phone for necessary instructions.

Additional Charges

Parental Involvement

The parents or guardian of a child is actively involved in the entire process. The present laws of the United State stipulate for both parents be available when the application for the passport is submitted. In the absence of parents, guardians are allowed. Book or Card

You would also be required to indicate the infant American passport needed. The two types available for minors are the passport card and passport book. The card only covers transportation by land and sea. The passport book avails the holder the freedom to travel through any means (land, air and sea). Each of these passports is priced differently.

Addiction does not discriminate against sex, race, location, or financial status. It can take hold of anyone’s life and severely impact it in a negative way. However, addiction is unique in that it can be triggered by many different things. In the case of most women, there is always an underlying cause of drug or alcohol addiction. It can be anything from a person’s past that causes feeling of shame, pain or anxiety. In order to avoid jail or death, women who have a drug addiction need to understand there is help out there for them specifically.

Process

When fermenting yeast and sugar together methanol can become a byproduct and contaminate the moonshine with toxic levels of the gas.

Toxins

Moonshine is made palatable and safer by discarding what is known as “foreshot”. Foreshot refers to the first few ounces of alcohol that drips from the condenser at the beginning of production. These first few drips contain most, if not all, of the methanol from the mash. It also contains trace amounts of other toxic compounds like acetone and aldehydes.

Dangers

Another reason moonshine manufacturing is menacing is the ever present threat of an explosion. All alcohol that is at least 80 proof, meaning it is 40% alcohol by volume, can catch fire. This is especially true during the distillation process when vaporized alcohol can fill the air if there is not proper ventilation. Moonshine is also sometimes treated with lye or beading oil to intensify its potency. This is enormously hazardous, however, as this poisonous concoction has shown to trigger blindness or even death.

Testing

The process moonshiners use to test the quality of their batch is to put a small amount onto a spoon and set it on fire. The thinking is that safe moonshine will burn with a blue flame and a contaminated batch will burn yellow. Although this test does potentially expose the presence of lead, it does not show the potential presence of methanol which burns invisibly.
